Yeah, Yeah, Yeah…… I know it’s been two months since I updated this blog. I appologize for not keeping up with the show and with you the millions of people who flock to my site monthly. Actually its only about a few hundred, but i truly appreciate each and everyone of you who take your time to come here and get the show. You are the ones who have kept me going for the last 15 years.
My main reason for not being able to keep up with the show is a co-worker had heart surgery and I have been helping out our station in the interim until he is ready to come back to work. All the best to my friend DJ Brandon Lee who is our Stations Promotions Director and his speedy recovery.

Bad news is bad news no matter how you receive it. This morning I woke up a grabbed the iPhone like each and every morning. Clicked on Instagram to see whats good. The first thing I saw was an image of MCA from The Beastie Boys, underneath it saying Rest In Peace…… I dropped my phone in disbelief. I could believe that he had passed. I knew he had cancer and thought he was doing somewhat well. Today, at the young age of 47 Adam MCA Yauch passed away. Today we lost a great.
MCA & The Beastie Boys have been a big part of my youth, young adulthood, and still to this day their music has moved me. I can’t believe I have been able to write this much. I am still at a loss. Just the other day I lost another one of my hero’s Junior Seau. Now MCA???
I had already completed my weekly Mind Tactics Show and was ready to send it off to Mix1620.com in New Jersey, and to !)2.7 Da Bomb here in Hawaii before I received the news. That previously recorded show will not air on either station. Rather, my dedication to MCA and The Beastie Boys will. Thank you to both station for holding me down and letting me work past deadlines to bring the best, most current show possible..
